1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Cleanup My Phone ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cleanup My Phone provides on-device cleanup, storage, and device-maintenance tools, including:

• Identification and removal of duplicate photos
• Detection of similar images
• Blurry and dark photo detection
• Screenshot and old screenshot management
• Screen recording detection
• Live Photo and burst photo management, including Best Shot selection
• Smart Albums (on-device AI photo categorization)
• HEIC to JPEG / PNG conversion
• Video compression
• 30-Day Backup of items you remove
• Secure, encrypted vault for private photos and videos
• Email / Inbox Cleaner with batch unsubscribe (Gmail, iCloud Mail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, and any IMAP provider)
• Contact Cleaner and Calendar Cleaner
• Device Health Score, Storage Breakdown, Battery Monitor, Speed Test, and Phone Boost
• Speaker Cleaner (water-eject and dust-removal tones, Speaker Test, and a microphone-based Sound Meter; audio is analyzed live and never recorded or uploaded)
• Automation tools such as Scheduled Cleanups, Auto-Clean rules, and Cleanup Goals
• Home and Lock Screen widgets and Charging Animations

All photo, video, contact, calendar, and email processing is performed locally on your device. We do not operate any backend service that receives or stores your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, or email content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Email Cleaner, Backup & Vault

• Email Cleaner: Your email remains stored on your provider's servers; we never copy it to ours. You connect accounts using Google OAuth or app-specific passwords, which are stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device. Unsubscribe and delete actions are performed at your explicit request and are subject to your provider's own behavior; we cannot guarantee a sender will honor an unsubscribe request.
• 30-Day Backup: Items you remove are kept on your device for up to 30 days so you can restore them. After 30 days they are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us — we hold no server-side copy.
• Secure Vault (Secrets): Vault contents are encrypted on your device and protected by Face ID / Touch ID / passcode. Because encryption keys are held only on your device, we cannot recover vault contents if you lose access to your device or credentials.
• Automation: Scheduled Cleanups, Auto-Clean rules, and Cleanup Goals run locally. Exact timing depends on iOS and your device state; we do not guarantee execution at a precise time.

4. Subscription Terms

• Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a free trial period. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Subscription: After the trial period, you will be charged the subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Not use the App to infringe on others' rights
• Take responsibility for all content in your photo library
• Maintain backups of important photos before using cleanup features

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any errors will be corrected
• The App will be compatible with all devices

We recommend reviewing items before deletion and maintaining backups of important photos.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, photos, or videos
• Any damages resulting from your use of the App
• Any unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App developer is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
